Sovereign Taekwondo Organisation is an independent organisation supporting Taekwondo clubs, schools, instructors, students and recognised Taekwondo organisations through recognised gradings, instructor development, mentoring and a collaborative community.

5. Membership Fees

Some membership categories require payment of a membership fee, whilst others may be offered without charge.

Where applicable, membership fees and payment arrangements will be communicated directly to applicants or members.

Payments may be made annually, monthly or by another agreed method.

Membership is not confirmed until any applicable payment has been received and accepted by Sovereign Taekwondo Organisation.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Members may cancel their membership at any time by notifying Sovereign Taekwondo Organisation.

Cancellation will prevent future renewals or payments where applicable but does not automatically entitle the member to a refund of any membership fees already paid.

Membership fees relate to the agreed membership period and are generally non-refundable.

Where exceptional circumstances exist, Sovereign Taekwondo Organisation may, at its sole discretion, provide a full or partial refund. Any refund does not create a precedent or entitlement for future refunds.

Where payments are processed through a third-party payment provider, the membership agreement remains between the member and Sovereign Taekwondo Organisation.

7. Membership Responsibilities

Members are expected to:

• provide accurate information when applying for membership;

• comply with these Terms & Conditions;

• act professionally and respectfully;

• uphold the reputation and values of Sovereign Taekwondo Organisation;

• comply with safeguarding and legal requirements applicable to their activities.

Where members actively teach Taekwondo, they remain responsible for ensuring they hold any qualifications, licences and insurance required for their activities.
 

8. Insurance

Sovereign Taekwondo Organisation does not sell insurance as a standalone product.

Where applicable, insurance may form part of the benefits included within certain membership categories.

Members remain responsible for ensuring they have appropriate insurance for the activities they undertake.

Sovereign Network Members who actively teach Taekwondo are responsible for arranging and maintaining suitable instructor and public liability insurance.

9. Gradings, Events & Services

Sovereign Taekwondo Organisation may provide gradings, seminars, courses, workshops, events and other services.

These may be amended, postponed or cancelled where necessary.

Participation may be refused where considered appropriate or where eligibility requirements have not been met.

10. Branding

The Sovereign Taekwondo name, logo and branding remain the property of Sovereign Taekwondo Organisation.

Full Club Members may use Sovereign branding in accordance with current guidance.

Sovereign Network Members may only use Sovereign branding or purchase official Sovereign-branded clothing or equipment with prior written permission.

Unauthorised use of Sovereign branding may result in suspension or termination of membership.
