Grading Awards

At Sovereign Taekwondo, we believe in recognising more than just technical ability—we honour personal growth, resilience, and dedication.

The Grading Award is not presented at every grading. It is reserved for moments when a student has demonstrated exceptional progress, overcome personal challenges, or made significant improvements since their last grading. This award is designed to honour those special achievements.

More than just a trophy, the award symbolises the spirit of perseverance and the individual journey each student takes—not only as martial artists, but as people. It reflects the core values we strive to instil: hard work, determination, and continuous self-improvement.

Adding a personal touch, the trophies awarded are the same ones won by Mr or Mrs Lolley during their own competitive careers—making each award a meaningful part of our club’s legacy.
